NOCRI is part of the National Institute for Health Research, which is the second largest government funder of medical research in the world.

In order to strengthen its reach into global life science companies and encourage them to undertake their early-phase research in the UK, NOCRI needed to reposition itself and promote its services.

After an extended phase of strategic consultancy with senior members of the NOCRI team, we developed an overarching visual identifier for NOCRI which has formed the platform for all future marketing activity. A key consideration throughout the process was brand hierarchy, requiring careful positioning of the new NOCRI brand alongside its parent brands of NIHR and, ultimately, the NHS.
